Today BIMT celebrated as a WORLD TOURISM DAY. It is purpose is to faster awareness among the International community of the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, political and economical value. The event seeks to address global challenges outlined in the 2030 agenda for sustainable development and to highlight of the contribution the tourism industry.

The World Tourism Day is celebrated with appropriate events on themes selected by the United nation of the World Tourism Organization.

Our Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi came up with one idea to get India’s stuttering economy humming again – get every Indian to visit 15 domestic tourist destinations over the next three years. The proposal might help to pump up domestic travel, which has struggled as many Indians cut back on consumer spending, and it could also create badly-needed jobs. Travel has become a booming industry in the recent past. Tourism Day Promoting the concept of Sustainable Tourism a Tool for Development.
